Courtesy vehicles are subject to specific conditions as detailed below:

• Courtesy vehicles are provided when a customer’s car is being worked on. This work may require some time for parts to be ordered and delivered.
• Courtesy vehicles are to be used for no longer than one week unless otherwise agreed.
• If parts are unavailable and the vehicle cannot be worked on, the courtesy vehicle is to be returned and the customer must make their own arrangements.

Additional disclaimers relating to the replacement of certain vehicle components are outlined below:

• If a turbo or engine replacement has taken place, it is the responsibility of the customer to have an oil and filter change carried out within the first 500 miles. Failure to have such a service conducted will void the warranty for both parts and labour.
• If an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve, Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), or turbo has been replaced on any vehicle from the Jaguar Land Rover Group, other parts may fail due to the initial failure. These failures are not traceable but can happen, and there is a risk of engine failure if one or more of these parts fail.
• If a vehicle has any mechanical or electrical fault, it is strongly advised not to drive the vehicle. Dan’s Garage will not be held liable for further damage caused by driving a vehicle with a known fault. The responsibility will lie with the owner of the vehicle.
• In the event of a part failure not directly related to our services, it is the responsibility of the customer to rectify the issue, not Dan’s Garage.

Our website may include links to third-party websites. Dan’s Garage has no control over the content or information displayed on these websites and takes no responsibility for anything that occurs when directed to third-party websites from our own.

This legal notice is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, specifically those that cover the motor trade. Any disputes will be attempted to be resolved in-house; failing this, we would seek the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) as a third-party mediator.
