Vehicle Maintenance, Repairs, Storage, and Car Sales
All new parts installed come with a 12-month warranty unless specified otherwise. This warranty exclusively covers the specific part in question. It does not cover any external factors that may cause the part to fail, nor does it extend to other parts that may fail as a result of the failure of the warranted part.
Estimates:
Estimates are generated following communication with suppliers and will be issued via email. These estimates are valid for a maximum of 28 days, although this period may be reduced depending on the specifics of the job.
Payment Methods:
We accept payment via Card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), Cash, and Bank Transfer.
Payment Terms:
Full payment is required before the vehicle leaves the premises. If the customer is collecting their vehicle and subsequently returning it, payment for parts ordered must be made in full due to charges and courier fees associated with returning the parts.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours before the appointment are free of charge.
- Cancellations made 24 hours before the appointment will incur a 50% charge.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur the full charge, with no refund issued.
Parts Ordering & Return Policy
- Once an estimate has been accepted, the parts will be ordered.
- A 50% fee will be applied for any parts ordered for a booking that is subsequently cancelled. This fee covers supplier charges and associated administrative work.
- For “Special Order” parts, full payment is required upfront as these parts are non-returnable.
Tyre Ordering & Return Policy
- Once a tyre has been ordered, the customer has 72 hours to have the tyre fitted.
- If the tyre remains at the garage for 72 hours without a booking made, or if a booking is missed without communication, the tyre will be returned.
- If a customer has had a tyre returned, full payment for the tyre will be required upfront before another tyre is ordered.
MOT Test Policy
- Customers will void their test if they turn up 10 minutes late for their appointment.
Timely Arrival
Customers are required to adhere to their scheduled appointment times. Late arrivals for services such as Air-Con, Diagnostic, and MOTs may incur a late fee or result in the appointment being cancelled altogether.
Vehicle Collection
Upon notification by Dan’s Garage via email, text, or phone that their vehicle is ready for collection, customers have 24 hours to collect their vehicle. If the vehicle is not collected within this timeframe and no communication has occurred, a minimum storage fee of £10 + VAT will be applied. This fee may vary depending on the value of the vehicle, as it remains under our insurance and care while on-site.
Service Limitations
We reserve the right to halt services if we are unable to continue after a diagnostic assessment. In such cases, the relevant labour charge will be applied.
We will endeavor to rectify any complaints within 28 working days. Unresolved issues will be referred to the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF).
Mechanical or Electrical Failures
Responsibility for component failures unrelated to work carried out remains with the customer to resolve.
Vehicle Collection and Storage
When a vehicle is ready for collection, the customer has 24 hours to collect it from Dan’s Garage. After this 24-hour period, Dan’s Garage reserves the right to apply a daily storage charge of £10 + VAT. Additionally, the customer assumes liability for any damage to the vehicle occurring after this 24-hour period.
Website Usage
The website must be used as intended. Any misuse may result in potential legal action.
Account Security
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their online accounts.

Referral Reward Details:
To qualify for a £25 discount on your annual maintenance service (minimum spend of £100), please follow these steps:
- Refer a friend or family member to Dans Garage.
- Ensure that your referred friend or family member mentions your name when they book their service.
- Once the referred individual has completed their service and payment, a note will be added to your account.
- When you schedule your next Annual Service, £25 will be deducted from the total amount.
Limitations:
- Only one referral discount can be applied to your annual maintenance.
- The referral reward can only be redeemed once every 12 months.
- Your annual service must total more than £100.
- The referred individual’s service must also exceed £100.

Promotion Period:
- This promotion is valid for appointments booked between 1st August 2024 and 30th September 2024.
- The service appointments must be scheduled to take place on or before 20th December 2024.
Eligibility:
- To qualify for the £25.00 discount, customers must book a Full Service in conjunction with an MOT test during the promotional period.
- The Full Service includes a comprehensive inspection of your vehicle, covering key components such as brakes, suspensions, and other essential parts.
- This offer is applicable only for Class 4 vehicles, which include cars and short vans.
MOT Test:
- The MOT test is priced at £40.00 for Class 4 vehicles under this promotion.
- The MOT must be conducted alongside the Full Service to be eligible for the discount.
Discount Details:
- A discount of £25.00 will be applied to the total service bill for eligible bookings.
- The discount is valid only once per vehicle during the promotional period.
Booking and Availability:
- Appointments are subject to availability, and early booking is recommended to secure preferred dates.
- The promotion cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
- In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, the promotion will remain valid as long as the new appointment falls within the eligible date range.
- If the rescheduled appointment falls outside the eligible period (after 20th December 2024), the discount will no longer apply.
General:
- Dan’s Garage reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.
- By participating in this promotion, customers agree to these terms and conditions.
